Smart Agro Accelerator by Bine Agro

Technological progress is one of the main features of the future development of humanity. So far, we have considered innovation and IT development as an integral part of the new expansion, and the pandemic has revealed that from now on, those powerful forces will actively lead humanity to new horizons: technological and food security. Both of these factors determine what mankind will face in the era of global challenges.

Technology defines our present – the vaccine research, financial transactions, education, medicine, etc. Today, many different fields are developing, thanks to technological breakthroughs. It might not be necessary to discuss food security because everybody understands its importance. The fate of billions of people depends on how we use innovation and technology in the future to ensure food security.

At the same time, the convergence of technological development and food security must not go against environmental and social issues. Technological development should not cause job losses, the same way as ensuring food security should not cause ecological problems.

It is more than evident that in the coming years, all of us will actively seek new and more effective ways of development in the era of global challenges. If in the past, countries were exclusively divided into agrarian and technological, current challenges have demonstrated that being purely technological or exclusively agrarian is not a guarantee of sustainable development. Effective development is the one that can combine agricultural and technological achievements in the name of society's welfare.

Based on the understanding of the challenges that all of us face, our company Bine Agro, together with partners and friends, decided to organize Smart Agro Accelerator. We want to help and support young people passionate about their ideas to realize interesting IT projects.

We must find the most optimal and attractive IT solutions that will contribute to the growth and development of the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan. These solutions can apply to both greenhouse and open complexes. They can be small or large. The main thing in this matter is optimization, business foundation, and the final result. We are all looking for the best business solutions and the most compelling offers.

Therefore, today we begin to discuss and prepare for the implementation of the Smart Agro Accelerator.

It will bring together young, active, and initiative people to develop and promote their ideas and proposals in the area of agro and IT enterprises synthesis. We plan to provide agro-industrial facilities to study our experience so that IT specialists could introduce working and effective products. We are open to the exploration and improvement of our IT scope.

We want to make Azerbaijan as developed as possible in terms of IT and agricultural industries synthesis. Therefore, we must see the projects working and being used so that they are not just developed for the sake of development.
